One on One
A writing desk and a chair designed almost as models of Platonic solids, all only apparently simple: the result of complex workmanship, they give rise to a sophisticated play of perspectives. They are all based on a universal feature: the square beam. All respond to an inspiration leading Fukasawa towards the ideal of “objective” objects, that reflect the environment in which they are placed rather than the individuality of the designer; making them ready to arouse a sense of déjà vu.
