From 1 to 30 September 2026, the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, hosts Homo Faber 2026 – An Island of Light, the international exhibition dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship, with artistic direction by Es Devlin and curated by the Michelangelo Foundation.
As part of the exhibition, Bottega Ghianda presents Enigme à tics, a work designed by Jean Nouvel that brings together contemporary design, materials and artisanal savoir-faire.
Presented within the section dedicated to the workshop Enigme à tics expresses Bottega Ghianda’s distinctive identity through a collaboration in which Jean Nouvel’s design research meets the workshop’s deep knowledge of materials and precision craftsmanship. The result is a work in which savoir-faire becomes an integral part of both the design and its formal expression.
Bottega Ghianda’s presence is part of the “An Island of Light” programme, which brings together more than 700 objects and over 500 artisans from more than 70 countries, celebrating the diversity of techniques and cultures that define contemporary craftsmanship.
