Cini Boeri
She graduated from Milan’s Politecnico in 1951 and, after a brief internship in Gio Ponti’s practice, began what would be a long collaboration with Marco Zanuso. In 1963 she started her own business, with a focus on civil architecture and industrial design. She designed single-family homes, apartments, museum set-ups, offices and stores in Italy and abroad, always dedicating great attention to the study of the functionality of spaces and the psychological relations between man and the environment. Within the sphere of industrial design she dealt in particular with the design of furniture and construction components. A number of her creations can be found in international museums and exhibitions. She has won numerous prizes and awards, including the Compasso d’Oro Award.
